		<description><![CDATA[the 1=1 model should be normal.  unless we can get all the libraries and all consortia money together to demand better access, we&#039;re going to need to live with the print model for ebooks.  but what we could do now is find a way to promote the ebooks that have less demand, no wait list... has someone written something that polls your Overdrive site to display books that have no wait?  and can you run a display on your website or on a screen in the library in real time that shows these titles?  I don&#039;t know what programming would do this, but I know that even with our small collection of ebooks, we have a bunch that have gotten cold, but we don&#039;t have any real way to push them... unlike real books that you can pile on a table and give everyone a looksy... for now, libraries are stuck with crappy ebooks contracts since we can&#039;t buy everything we want and lend it how we want, so I&#039;m just looking for some ways to make everything a little better because it&#039;s not realistic to say we can devote more and more money to ebooks just because you gave your grandma a Kindle for Christmas...]]></description>
