Google Buzz Widget for Android phones

Have you seen the new Google Buzz widget for Android phones? It’s really nice, if you like Buzz…which I don’t. At all. Whatsoever. Total fail, imho. Maybe someday they will fix it, do it right, and re-launch it without the privacy nightmares that they so uncouthly brushed off this time around.

Awww, that’s a shame. Buzz had a rocky start, but I think it’s time to forgive and forget. Google has fixed the privacy thing. And I’m now having great conversations on Buzz on a number of different topics. If you were old enough — which I’m sure you are not — you would remember the great days before the Web when we all had discussions on Usenet Newsgroups. Buzz has got a similar vibe to that, but with pictures!
There’s a shortage of library people there right now, so we need to get people back to it.
