Yes, Google announced smartphone that is good news.
I do need a new phone so if anyone has any suggestions, let me know. I read my feeds on my phone. I don’t know google smartphone feature. so, pls give me some information.

OK – so yes, T-Mobile stinks. And I’m never using AT+T for anything. Which is the sole reason I don’t have an iPhone. I am not giving them my money.

And you’re right, Jason, that faster processors don’t necessarily mean faster downloads… Not directly. However, for me, when I start a data download, part of what takes for-freaking-ever is the program itself getting ready to download. It hasn’t even started accessing the network yet…the device is still loading the program, or processing a command. So, in that way faster processors can help with data download experiences.

I do need a new phone so if anyone has any suggestions, let me know. I read my feeds on my phone, surf the web, check email, and use Twitter. Oh yes, and I call people on the phone I use the camera occasionally, and definitely use text messaging (But mostly as a way for Twittter and Facebook to alert me to new posts from friends…not direct text messaging usually). I’d rather use an app, frankly. I also really need to carry my calendar around with me, namely my work calendar which is controlled through Outlook. That’s how I ended up with a Windows Mobile Treo. But…a lot of hacks are out there for other devices and OSs for mobile devices that let you synch up Outlook with an open source calendar, which you can then synch to the device.

So…any device suggestions?

Yeah, the downside? Cell radio only does T-Mobile 3G GSM frequencies, and not AT&T 3G. You’ll be stuck with t-Mobile for anything approaching high-speed data on the go…and as bad as AT&T is, they have WAY better coverage nationwide than T-Mobile.

*sigh*

One nitpick: faster processor != faster downloads. The Snapdragon is suppose to be crazy fast, though…and don’t forget the OLED screen!
