The 2010 Computers in Libraries Conference is now open for registration!  The conference is in Arlington, Virginia, from April 12-14.  I’ll be there, and presenting several times to boot.  Hope to see many of you there.

“Computers in Libraries 2010 open for registration”

  1. Michele amassana Says:

Can you give me some advise on wich sessions of the program i should register for as a shool librarian?

  2. Sarah Says:

Well, of course I’d recommend mine :) But I think you’ll be happy with most programs. Look at the titles/topics first, and then look at who is speaking. As a school librarian, you’re most likely to get useful content for your situation from other school librarian speakers, or public librarians. Unfortunately, many of the academic librarian talks tend toward the theoretical and research-based, and while interesting they don’t always help me with my work. But the topic is what’s most important. Go to what grabs you!
