ALA Learning Round Table
Check out the ALA Learning Round Table. If you are a trainer, teacher, information instructor, or any other kind of staff or customer educator in a library, then you should certainly be aware of this: http://alalearning.org
You can sign up on the site for alerts via RSS, or follow ALA LRT via Facebook or Twitter (does not require membership).
The ALA Learning Round Table was formerly known as CLENERT. The mission of ALA Learning is “to provide a thought-provoking resource for those interested in learning and training in libraries. It’s our goal to be your source for training and learning news, information, best practices, and thoughtful discussion.”
You can join ALA’s Learning Round Table for $20 in addition to your regular ALA dues.
The site includes many library educators of note: Peter Bromberg, Maurice Coleman, Betha Gutsche, Marianne Lenox, Bobbi Newman, Lori Reed, Paul Signorelli, Jay Turner, and Stephanie Zimmerman.
