Association for Rural and Small Libraries Conference: Online Marketing for Small Libraries presentation
Association for Rural and Small Libraries Conference
"Online Marketing for Small Libraries" by Sarah Houghton-Jan (err, me!)
This was my first of three presentations for this conference (in one day!) and we had a great audience. My presentation is available below as a PDF:
I hope people find it useful!
Incidentally, I received several questions at the conference about whether I consult with other libraries on this and other topics, as a speaker or technology planning consultant. The answer is absolutely yes. I do consult, write, and speak regularly, though my schedule is somewhat limited due to health reasons. If you click on the “About” link up above in the right-hand-sidebar, you can get a list of all the topics on which I typically speak, write, and consult. Pop me an email or IM (that’s also listed in the “About” page), chat with me in the window on the right, and I’m happy to discuss your library’s needs. I have a passion for small libraries and am honored and happy to do what I can to help!

I’m so impressed that you provided three presentations in one day! The one I was able to attend (online marketing) was great – lots of useful info. I enjoyed the ARSL conference overall and am definitely going to try to find a way to make next year’s in Gatlinburg (DOLLYWOOD!).
