Kids.gov

October 6, 2006

Kids.gov is self-described as "Uncle Sam’s
family-friendly site that links to over 500 websites from government
agencies, schools, and educational organizations, all geared to the
learning level and interest of kids."

The links on this site includes all sorts of topics, activities, educational games, and more.  Basically, it gathers all the various federal government agency-created pages for kids in one place.  Some of them are quite useful, while others are rather strange in concept, such as the Kids Page from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.
