There is a new beta version of Exalead available for those interested.  Exalead is a France-based search engine that provides some nifty features like target page thumbnails, and refining options for RSS, audio, and video. The old standby Exalead can be viewed here.  The new homepage is much sleeker looking, and they claim that with the new engine, their index will increase to 8 billion pages with double the number of images (thus, the new image search).  Phil Bradley also writes about his impressions of the new Exalead.
