The Kansas State Librarian has promoted RSS on her blog, Travels with the State Librarian. From her post:

Have you seen the quip on t-shirts and book bags, ‘too many books, too
little time’? Well a 2006 version of that is ‘too many blogs, too
little time!’ After several attempts at self -education about news
aggregators, I finally asked my valued friend and tech guru Brenda Hough for advice. She told me to go to Bloglines
or another aggregator, and just start messing around. So I did, and now
I have a very efficient and useful way to get the information I want….

RSS is making its way into the computers and hearts of millions, one step at a time.  Why?  Because it’s customized content when and where users want it.  That is its power.  Try it out if you haven’t yet.  Really…you’ll thank yourself.

Its amazing to me that people are just jumping on this bandwagon now! We’re headed there, and as one of the “biggies” in the Nation, i’m ashamed to say “were almost there!

guess its better than saying “whats RSS? Will antibiotics clear it up?”
