Search engine webcasts–free from UC Berkeley
January 3, 2006
UC Berkeley webcasts (for free) some of its course sessions. This is ordinarily cool, but this time it’s extra cool. The class "Search Engines: Technology, Society, and Business," has a number of awesome upcoming webcasts: including sessions given by Sergey Brin, Hal Varian, and Peter Norvig. Titles of the webcasts include "Search Personalization, News, Print, Maps and Earth" (Norvig), "Sergey’s Views on Search, Google, and Life" (Brin), and "Search Advertising" (Varian).
Free content is good.
