Firefox stuff

December 5, 2005

Firefox 1.5 is pretty darn nifty if I do say so myself.  And apparently it’s beating the tar out of the 1.0 download stats.  Could it be because IE security holes are more numerous and serious now?  Could be ;)   When one’s employer’s IT department starts disabling all active scripting in IE because of a security flaw (thereby disabling all of one’s databases, eBooks, vendor sites, and more), one begins to think "hey, good thing I have Firefox, despite county policy to not have it").  Err, right.

And on that note, a Firefox plug-in I hadn’t seen before!  This one turns all open tags into clickable thumbnails.  Nice!
