Get Inspired

September 23, 2005

Stephen Abram has put out his second batch of "Tips to Inspire Innovation for You and Your Library" (first batch available here).  I always find Stephen to be right on target with big-frame thinking about libraries, project management, and technological innovation.  He’s one of those people who takes two steps back and considers things from a different angle.  As someone who tends to get caught up in the microscopic details of what I do, I appreciate the occasional reminder to re-evaluate things.

In this particular piece, I appreciate his questions about what keeps you up at night about your job and what one thing would you change if you could.  For me, I found that those two things are one and the same.  Read Stephen’s piece, get inspired, and choose one thing to change…could be small, could be big, but your life will be that much better for changing it.
