Dave has reviewed the newly re-designed Ann Arbor District Library’s website.  His review is thoughtful, thorough, and accurate.  To sum up, he says:

Ann Arbor, your site already rocks. Work on the weaknesses, and your site will be the Bono of the library website world!

Hmmm.  Bono?  Perhaps Neil Tennant instead?  Or Bjork?  Bono has disappointed me lately, what with all the commercial prostitution of U2 and such…but that’s neither here nor there.

Many of the weaknesses he points out, are weaknesses to be watched out for on any library website.  And many of the strengths are likewise things for other library sites to strive for.  I must admit, though, that I am terrified of the possibility of Dave reviewing the library website I design and maintain in a future edition of his reviews.  One hopes to squeak through unnoticed sometimes :)
