Pew just released its study: "Public Awareness of Internet Terms."  No surprise to me that only 9% of the public has "a good idea" of what RSS is.  But it was good to see that another 65% of people had at least heard the term before.  Based on this study, it would appear that many common internet terms (spam, spyware, cookies) are making their way into American consciousness on a large scale.  A lot of the numbers were actually higher than I thought they would be…
