September 6th will see the U.S. release of Salman Rushdie’s new book, Shalimar the Clown.  Bookslut points us to an interview with the author from the Christian Science Monitor.  Rushdie’s work was what initially interested me in post-colonial literature, and it continues to inspire me.  I can’t wait for my library hold to come in.
