Unabridged

January 6, 2005

Libraries serving blind, visually impaired, and physically handicapped readers in Colorado, Delaware, Illinois, New Hampshire, and Oregon, as well as the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (NLS), part of the Library of Congress, announced a new service: Unabridged.  Unabridged provides digital audio books for print-impaired readers and is powered by Overdrive.  Delivered as .wma files, these audio e-books are highly accessible and a great service for visually impaired readers.
