Could enbunk be the opposite of debunks?

Or imbunk?

I do like Snopes. Its a good extra to all the virus hoax pages, to pass on to people when they send you emails about really bad things that will happen to their machines if you don't do exactly what the message tells you, and how important it is for you to forward this message to everyone you know.

We still get a few people sending these messages to Staff- All without checking it out with anyone from IT (or even library systems) first.

When you put people on to Snopes (instead of the usual virus hoax pages), they seem to feel less bad, and (maybe counter-intuitively) the message seems to get through more effectively.

Snopes is fantastic! I still hear many people repeating UL's from time to time, and it always amuses me that they are so sure it happened to someone they know.
